Getting a Chromebook

Chromebooks are excellent webpage machines. The price point is unbeatable. There are expensive Chromebooks that you may want to avoid. We prefer Samsung. Their printing abilities are limited to IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) but serve web applications well. You will not be able to install applications outside the Google Play Store designed for ChromeOS.

As a car salesperson, these devices are great for running vAuto, VinSolutions, and Factory websites. Most Training works but there may be an old training video that uses Flash. This device is not for you if you need your Microsoft Word or Excel. It also requires internet. If you are in an area where WiFi is not available, this thing will drive you crazy. Do not buy a Chromebook 3 or lower, Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro they will not update in the future.
